A priority should have been given to the CoRL reviewers. Maybe a small percentage but there’s a group of people who contributed to CoRL by reviewing at least 3 papers but didn’t get priority since they don’t have a paper.

This is a bad take imo. BD built Spot for real world customers and those customers don’t need back flipping (as mentioned in the video) so it’s not about being late, it’s about engineering/research priorities.
