we don't need more planned White House protest rallies on a Saturday. we don't need more police-sanctioned march routes we need to get back to meaningful disruptions that make our murderers think twice— and we need to do them as diverse coalitions with a strong political will

instead of stimulating DC's hotels and restaurants on a random Saturday afternoon, why not shut down elected's offices on a weekday they're actually there? why not protest at the Louisiana detention facility where they're holding students hostage? v rhetorical thoughts of course

all responsible orgs should be interested in mutual aid funds and services key example: if you are an org catering to artists — many of whom are immigrants — then you should have a pool of funds and agreements with a legal team to support any community members who get detained

if the work doesn't actively, tangibly feed or free someone with immediacy, then your org needs to allocate emergency funds where possible if your org advocates for liberation, but spends all its funds on itself and not to sustain those most proximal to harm, that's exploitation

is the struggle for liberation your purpose or your brand? liberation can occur on multiple fronts. for example, my struggles are against imperialism, but also against the nafs — my nafs, the nafs of others, and the alchemy between them
