Our DVP , met with Compton Firefighters last week regarding their fight for fair working conditions. The brothers and sisters of Local 2216 have continued to serve & risk their lives for the community daily in unacceptable working conditions, all without a contract.

Your DVP, Stephen Gilman , recently attended the New Mexico Firefighters State Convention, where he had the honor of addressing the attendees. In a humbling and honorable moment, DVP Gilman received the endorsement of the NMPFFA for his reelection as #Team10th DVP.

Your Team 10th is heartbroken by the tragic loss of three lives last night in Riverside County CA. Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and the brothers and sisters of Cal Fire Local 2881 affected by this devastating accident.

Today DVP Gilman , along with the GST & Hawaii state President Bobby Lee, met with the brothers and sisters of HFFA1463 to aid and assist affected members of this tragedy. HFFA & CPF have coordinated to use the CAFire Foundation to collect donations. Link in bio

Whether in Maui providing aid to members or on the US-Mexico border assisting in political fights, your DVP is at work for our #Team10th. Yesterday, alongside the President & VP of PFFA , the DVP visited Nogales, AZ to help their fight.

Yesterday, your OC Firefighters, through our firefighter-run non-profit, the Fallen Firefighters Relief Fund, presented a $50,000 check to Hawaii Firefighters Local 1463 to help those firefighters who lost their homes.

Our #IAFF E- Board meetings are underway this week. DVP Gilman, alongside, Edward A. Kelly , Frank Líma IAFF General Secretary Treasurer , & other officers, reviewed the FY24 budget. These officers are committed to passing a balanced budget, being fiscally responsible, & safeguarding your investment in our IAFF

Over the weekend, the California Fire Foundation honored and remembered 35 fallen California firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice at the annual California Firefighters Memorial ceremony.

Your DVP @Dvpgilman met the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters (AZ) leaders to discuss and collaborate on labor issues, strategies, best practices, and ways to work together to advance labor and firefighters issues.

Your #Team10th wants to congratulate PFFA President Don Jongewaard, for receiving a Lifetime of Service Recognition Day Proclamation from the city of #Tempe yesterday. This is a well-deserved tribute to a man who has done so much for the well-being of AZ firefighters!
