Newly elected President of Library Association Lorna Dodd presented broadcaster Rick OāShea Rick O'Shea (no longer here) with the 2025 Presidentās Medal. A wonderful recipient who has done so much for reading in Ireland!


I just arrived in Dublin for the Dublin Literary Award and who should I meet when out for a walk? Oscar rakishly perched on a rock. I love this city and Iām so excited for tomorrowās #DublinLitAward announcement! š


My favourite programme is back on BBC Radio 4, but Iām disappointed not to hear adele geras on Round Britain Quiz. Iām sure Jenny will be great, but Adele and Stuart Maconie were a great team. Still, if I was in the UK Iād happily pay the licence fee for RBQ and In our Time!
