Telegraft ISCT 🤔Where?🧐Leading countries developing clinical development of stem-cell-based RPE products include USA, Japan, Israel, UK, China and Republic of Korea. In some other countries, developments are still on the preclinical stage, including Sweden, Spain, India, Finland, Singapore.

Telegraft ISCT 🤔How?🧐#Stem cell-based #RPE products are #ATMP produced in compliance with pharmaceutical #GMP standards. Current #protocols yield >98% pure RPEs, although some developers use cell sorting procedures to enrich #RPEs from other #impurities.

Telegraft ISCT 🤔Did you know that…🧐#RPE have granules of #melanin, the same substance found in the skin that protects us from #UVlight and responsible of the color of our #hair? This makes it easier to work with these cells because they can be easily spotted for their dark brown color.
