Karen Lankester Steve Reed MP Matthew Pennycook MP TFA NFU North National Farmers' Union Genuinely, we are tenant farmers. If the land is used for solar we see no profit from this. Only the landowner and developer will profit. We will be forced to quit the land, meaning we lose 42% of our holding. We are a small farm and cannot absorb this loss.


Just a reminder that Tenant farmers do not benefit in any way from solar developments, in fact they face a permanent and ongoing loss. For tenants, losing land to solar is not temporary, it is permanent. TFA Country Land & Business Assn National Farmers' Union
