Just got an email from ACS PMSE Division accepting my abstract for a talk at #FallACS! See you all in Chicago in August!!

So honored to be chairing this organization in the coming years!! I also learned that Cole DeForest started the YSG back in the day, pretty cool to bring it around full circle as his trainee. 😁 Looking forward to a great couple years with you guys!

Just about a year after I broke my leg and was unable to work for a summer, they're finally installing handicap accessible motorized doors on my building. Many thanks to the UW Chemical Engineering department and chair Jim Pfaendtner for their help pushing this through!

How is chocolate important to my work? Let me count the ways.... Biggest reason is probably that nothing would get done after 3pm without a nice bar of chocolate motivation. 😆 #labchocolatecontest Sigma-Aldrich @IKopyeva

Anyone else in Cole DeForest lab watching the latest season of #GBBO looking for inspiration for the holiday bake off? 🙋🏼♀️ (Right now, y'all are getting a mini cake sandwiches with my signature vanilla cake, caramel and Oreo filling)
