Been a busy morning with work. Several fleets of Red Hat Linux VMs getting prepped for LEAPP upgrades. Bash was the quick fix but Ansiblizing this process is the end goal! 😁 Now onto culling & editing photos from last night's Southwest & Seguin game. And yes, that's a CF card.

Gatekeepers hold back progress by limiting access to opportunities & resources. Their control usually deepens inequality, silences diverse voices, & creates barriers that keep society from moving forward. Always avoid it when you see it 💯

Shout out to all the sports freelancers who self-funded their photo/video gear/software license/travel expenses, built up their portfolios covering a variety of events (many times for free), & persevered in their search for paying jobs or gigs. That's #tough 💪

The general public doesn’t see ‘niche’ or ‘style’—they only see photographs that either resonate with them or don’t.

Timing is everything in sports photography. Whether it’s nailing the perfect tackle shot or capturing the emotion after a well-fought game, always be ready. Gear helps (Nikon 400mm f/2.8, I’m looking at you), but anticipation is the real MVP! 👍
