Foster Care Fortnight is the UK’s largest awareness raising campaign for fostering. The fortnight is hosted by The Fostering Network. This year’s theme is the power of relationships, “because at the heart of every fostering journey are the connections that make all the difference”.

Foster carers discuss the need for centralised recruitment, more flexible working from social workers to meet the needs of young people, a good SSW is key #FCF25

Kinship care keeps children within their families and promotes long term stability. Sharon and Vicci say we need a centralised point like TFN to get support and information on the system. Peer support has been key alongside access to training and therapeutic services #FCF25
