Excited to share our recent work by Pallavi Thakur and co-workers published online in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. Great work people! Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan doi.org/10.1021/acs.jpā¦

Happy to share our recent publication with Jagannath Mondal now online in Electrochemistry Communications. In the work, the authors talk about electrochemical reaction pathways of platinum dissolution and oxidation. Congratulations authors! doi.org/10.1016/j.elecā¦

Congratulations Pallavi Thakur on receiving DST-AWSAR Award 2023 for science story writing. Check out the piece here: tifrh.res.in/~tnn/wp-conten⦠The short story is a comprehensive narration of her research work originally published as doi.org/10.1021/acsami⦠in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces TIFR Hyderabad

Hot off the press!!! doi.org/10.1021/acscat⦠Check out our recent article in ACS Catalysis where we discuss simple efficient electrolyte engineering for electrocatalysis and study the interface with highly sensitive in situ IR spectroscopy. Kudos Nandita Mohandas Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan!

Congratulations to Dipak Maity (graduate student Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab) on receiving the Best Poster Presentation Award (CHPHI Elsevier Award) at the International Conference on Advanced Materials for Better Tomorrow-II, BHU Official.

Congratulations to Dipak Maity (graduate student Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab ) on receiving the Best Poster Award at the Annual International Conference onĀ 'Recent Progress in Graphene and 2D Materials Research' held in Bengaluru (Nov 20-23, 2023).

Our perspective on osmolyte's role against salt- and cold stress in bio-interfaces is published in Langmuir. The point made here are majorly driven by simulation efforts of Susmita SUSMITA SARKAR and synergistic experiments with Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab group pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acā¦

Humbled by the visit of Prof. Clare Grey, University of Cambridge to TIFR Hyderabad . She gave a colloquium "Towards a Net Zero World". She also visited our lab, interacted with the students and discussed the ongoing works. The visit also initiated a future research collaboration.š

As a part of the #NationalScienceDay celebrations, TIFR Hyderabad hosted a science fair with students of class 6 to 10 visiting the institute. We gave the students a lab tour, engaged with them, and explained our research, instilling curiosity and love for science in young minds!

Congratulations to Dipak Maity on receiving the Dr. K. V. Rao Scientific Society Award (Research Award in Physics, Silver Medal). Following Shubhadeep Pal (2016-17) and Pallavi Thakur (2020-21), Dipak becomes the third grad student from Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab to receive this commendation.

It was a pleasure to host Prof. T. N. Narayanan @tnnlab from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research at CSIR-CLRI Thank you, TNN, for the truly insightful talk on the critical role of interfaces in diverse systems. Grateful to Prof. P. Thanikaivelan for organizing and hosting this enriching session!
