The 3rd #UNSaferGuard Training for Women Ammunition Technical Experts on #IATG launched in Wiener Neustadt, Austria! 16 practitioners🌍join the training organized by UNODA, MoD 🇦🇹, @GICHD-AMAT, and small arms survey to advance women’s participation in ammunition management.


Our Director Tobias Privitelli opened the first meeting of the Innovative Finance Technical Working Group, a step toward stable, long-term funding for mine action. The goal: adapt proven tools like frontloading to meet urgent financing needs. Thanks to Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office 🇬🇧 for your support.






🇱🇰 #SriLanka is finalising its revised mine action strategy. We supported the process in Colombo, where the reviewed strategy was presented to government, operators & donors. The mission also included talks with NMAC, & a meeting with WFP Sri Lanka explore greater collaboration.

At our workshop with Libya Mine Action Centre #LibMAC & GICHD, experts shared knowledge and best practice in mechanical land release in #Libya. This engagement allows our teams to make best use of a new front-end loader, funded by 🇱🇺 Luxembourg Aid & Development, to remove explosives.



In 2024, The Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT) ran a Training of Trainers on ammunition management in Peru. 13 instructors were trained (over a third women).
