This is my unofficial interhospital retrieval pre-departure checklist. Helps me keep my junk in order.

I hate that there is this vocal minority of physicians who constantly attack APPs and harass them to the point that they have to give up for their own sanity. I especially hate that they’re such a small minority but make a lot of noise.

This right here is what I like seeing. When appropriate, treat the pain. Holding it because it’s convenient for you as the paramedic hurts the patient.

The “Practice of Medicine is exclusive to DOs & MDs”...really? So then what are PAs doing? What about physicians across the world with other degrees such as MBBS? This is poorly worded and disappointing from a professional.

Our own Chip Lange with Chip with TOTAL EM used to practice BJJ regularly. It’s amazing how the knowledge of medicine can help in such sports. Adding in #POCUS knowledge makes it even more interesting.

Live and work near this area. We could see a near immediate benefit of vaccination and then the public stopped getting vaccinated. However, they didn’t stop going out and went fully back to pre-COVID social norms (decreased wandwashing, nobody wearing masks, handshaking, etc).
