Congratulations to SpaceX on the successful launch of #Starship this morning. This fourth flight of the Starship spacecraft marked a significant leap forward in the quest for reusable space travel!

In 1968, during Apollo 8, Bill Anders offered to humanity among the deepest of gifts an astronaut can give. He traveled to the threshold of the Moon and helped all of us see something else: ourselves. He embodied the lessons and the purpose of exploration. We will miss him.

We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of astronaut General Bill Anders. Anders was the lunar module pilot on Apollo 8. He took the iconic "Earthrise" photo during that mission. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. Godspeed, General Anders.
