Took Cannon to help me water the Clarkdale Elementary garden today! So lucky to have a staff that helps me maintain the garden over the summer for the kids to enjoy when we return. We have SO much growing!!

Visiting the Clarkdale Elementary garden on Mondays brings me joy! Our corn is tasseling which means we will see silks soon! 🌽 My family is from Indiana & I grew up surrounded by corn farmers, so this is a highlight for me! #schoolgarden #gardenedu #STEMcobb

We are back! I had all my introduction lessons with EVERY student in the school building to introduce The Nest, some tech, and my new name! Jury is still out on my new name (Mrs.Todaro) several have asked if they can still call me Mrs. Denhart. ❤️

Data collection in the garden and narrative stop motion films! 2nd grade is rocking the nest! We are filming the stop motion tomorrow and I’m excited to see their creative narratives come to life! We have astronaut dogs, magic rocks and penguins making ice wings. #innovation

Did you know I love teaching writing almost as much as technology? 2nds learned safe research skills, typing, text features, grammar, tech skills through Book Creator Team , and HAD FUN! Animal information books were printed because they were too amazing to keep online!

Came back from spring break to a hydroponic FEAST!! 4th and 5th grade hydroponic hero’s have been helping to maintain and monitor this growth this year! We Bagged up the harvest and we leave it in the front office for our families to enjoy! Cobb County STEM/STEAM & Innovation Department

Last night was STEAM night and let me tell you…we go big for our community. 20 community partners helped us share a love for STEAM for our families. We gave away 40 prizes, had food trucks, and welcomed 390 students and parents to the school! #STEAM Cobb County Schools Cobb STEM/Innovation
