Morning folks, our next free event is on this Saturday, "Nature in Winter" with our friends from The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery it is suitable for all ages. We're delighted to receive £210,500 to help support people at risk of loneliness in Barrow, by connecting them with nature. Active Lancashire in partnership with The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery are running a free bike workshop today! 6 people from Morecambe are currently learning to repair bikes, on which they will ride home at the end, thanks to Breaking Cycles CIC for providing the workshop.

We're supporting our colleagues at CumbriaWildlifeTrust by objecting to the proposed development at Roanhead, next to their Sandscale Haws reserve - which is home to a quarter of the UKs natterjack toads... #roanhead

It's been a massive week for our Wyre team who have won not just one but two prizes! First up was the Rural Community Group Nature Champion at Lancashire Wildlife Trust supporters day, and then last night they got the Environmental Sustainability Award at Wyre Council's Active Wyre Awards
