This Plastic Free July with the Bongles, we will be featuring some of the Bongles' heroes of environmental activism. Today's hero is Hans Cosmas Ngoteya, a conservationist from Tanzania. His research helps communities better co-exist with nature.

This Plastic Free July we are sharing a few of the Bongles' heroes. Today's hero is Julia Hill, who lived in a 180-foot-tall, 1500-year-old California redwood tree, named Luna, for 738 days to prevent loggers from cutting it down. Julia founded the organization, Circle of Life.

The Bongles' hero today, for the last week of Plastic Free July is Isatou Ceesay. Isatou is a Gambian activist, known as the Queen of Recycling. She founded One Plastic Bag, which educated women to recycle plastic waste into sellable products to earn income. Thank you, Isatou!

Check out this lovely moment from @muddlingmummy 😊 She said, 'the book is told in rhyme. My 4 year old could predict the words, on the second read, as she could recall the rhyming. This definitely increased her enjoyment. She also thought the TV being eaten was hilarious.'
