thedeafguy It is important for the hearing impaired person to remind the interpreter to ask the interviewers to face the hearing impaired person while listening to them instead. That makes it intentional or else they too sometimes get carried away by the attention.

Just because someone reacts to sound or turns when called doesn't mean they're "faking" being Deaf or hard of hearing. Deaf people are fully aware of their surroundings sight, vibration, and intuition are powerful. #DeafAwareness #DisabilityInclusion
