It was a pleasure hosting Su Chin Heo The Heo Lab for our BME seminar series. Brilliant talk followed by many questions. Looking forward to exciting collaborations in the near future.

Exciting lab meeting today as we gear up for tomorrow's big #Purdue vs #NCState game! Our PhD student Lauren Monroe, an NC State University alum, showcased her research and sparked the rivalry with this Purdue University alum. Go Boilermakers! But gotta love her competitive spirit! 🔬🏈

In our new preprint we report an interesting technical development by PhD student Eric Havenhill. He quantified the force in stress fibers of migrating cells from the experimental information of cell trajectory combined with computational modeling. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Three immigrants started their PhD journey together Purdue Engineering Bumsoo Han lab in 2010, graduated together in 2014/15 but the trio never got a chance to meet again. In 2024 three assistant professors meet after 9 years at WI, thanks to SB3C Organizers #SB3C2024

What a week! As we present our 2nd PhD Dr. Eric Havenhill (1st in mech), our 1st PhD Samantha Wilkins joins Critical Path Institute (C-Path) as a project manager of complex in vitro models after a 2 year postdoc Seattle Children's. The committee found Eric's work 'very creative, novel and elegant'.

Lab summer party 2024 to bid farewell to Dr. Eric Havenhill and to welcome 4 new graduate students. Celebrated a few achievements and many failures over last year, including the acceptance of a paper and rejection of another paper from the same first author on the day of party.

Our lab will present two podium talks at #WCCM2024 (World Congress on Computational Mechanics) conference in Vancouver, Canada. The talks are scheduled on Tuesday July 23 at 2 : 40 pm and 3 : 00 pm. Looking forward to connect, and catch up with colleagues! Eric Havenhill

Fresh from the press by our group led by Eric Havenhill. We utilized the imaging data of cell migration to discover mathematical rules of their collective behavior and predict their path while they are aware of the environment. Free to download for 50 days sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

It was a pleasure and honor to host Akhilesh K Gaharwar at TRANSLATIONAL MEDICINE INSTITUTE and CSU Engineering. Thank you for visiting us and the fascinating talk.

Six tenure track/ tenured positions in AI at our CSU Engineering as the part of a cluster hire. Join us in a beautiful community. jobs.colostate.edu/postings/152843
