Year 7 pupils visited St John's Hospice this week as part of their community work in Activity Week. A lively bingo session was enjoyed by some patients, while others relaxed to calming musical performances. A lovely way to spend the day, greatly appreciated by all!

What amazing luck we had with the weather on Friday - the sun came out just at the right time for Reception's Summer Tea Party! The boys sang some lovely songs to their family members, before playing lawn games and eating sandwiches & lots of cake. Thank you for coming everyone!

MS Sports Day's blue skies drew crowds of parents to the playing fields this morning to cheer on the Year 4 and 5s. Finishing off the competitions, the ever popular House Tug-O-War competition was as spirited as ever, with Blue winning the Year 5 contest in style!

Huge congratulations to The Hall U11 Chess team who finished in 2nd place at the day-long Kings College event on Saturday, replacing the National Finals. A massive achievement against the top-performing schools in England from the last few years!

The Year 3s production of Jungle Book is a colourful finale to their learning about Rainforests this term. Parents are in for a treat - even the temperature in the JS Hall conveys the feeling of being in a tropical rainforest! Well done boys on your lively acting and singing!

Our Chapel Choir sang a beautiful Evensong in Southwark Cathedral last night, a moment of calm and serenity in an otherwise hot & humid, frantic end-of-year school day.

The sun shone for our annual Boules & Baguettes day, where children from three partnership primary schools joined some Hall Year 8s to play boules, complete quizzes about France, build constructions of famous French landmarks before a lunch of baguettes and glaces!

Year 8 enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Westminster yesterday, a wonderful opportunity to wander round the Houses of Parliament which are quiet while MPs are not sitting. It was amazing to stand in both the Commons and the Lords and to learn more about the processes of government.
