Croke Park are missing a big trick if they don't book Kingfishr for the All-Ireland semi-final or final. 🎵 Killeagh, la La-la, la, la-la-la, la-la-la 🎵 The biggest hurling song in years and the perfect singalong anthem.

A herring is a fish. When a herring is preserved by salting and smoking, it turns red and smells. It's so pungent that it's a great diversion to distract hunting dogs from their trail. Now, a ‘red herring’ refers to anything that diverts attention from the issue at hand.

Spent an inspiring day sharing National Museum of Ireland collections with experts from other museums. The knowledge exchanged will be so valuable in enhancing museum records and (eventually) making those records available online.

I had a minor breakdown cos work got too stressful so I called a counselling service & spoke to an Irish man named Steve & while I was telling him the story that led to it he kept saying “OOHH MY GOT, ARE YE SERIOUS?!?” repeatedly and honestly that worked. He was just so shocked

In Windsor Park today to present at the International Football History Conference. I'll be discussing how the share your stories strand of the GAA exhibition National Museum of Ireland has prompted nostalgic, heartfelt, and deeply personal responses, which may otherwise not have been captured.

"I wonder what Spratt has to say about Wexford in the first half" as he switches off the telly. GAA+ is well and good, but local radio always reigns supreme in my father's world!

The inconsistency of updating the scoreboards and timers on GAA+ is absolutely head wrecking. It's happening every single week, too. We need a GAA equivalent of Liveline every Monday.

Why is this object on open display? Why are there no barriers or alarms? Where were the attendants? I have so many questions 🤯 Also, the museum is totally deflecting from poor security of the object by using this video as a call out for the public to 'respect art on display'.

Very much hope John Hegarty stays. He deserves Division 3 football next year! 🟣🟡 But with the demands of intercounty football and hurling, you wouldn't blame anyone for walking away.

The British establishment played an absolute blinder here. They took Kneecap's voice, platformed it, amplified it, and spread it worldwide; and all the right people are foaming at the mouth over it. It's absolutely wonderful to see. Free Palestine Free Mo Chara
