Watching an industry you, your family and most of your friends have given our whole lives to, be pulled apart limb by limb is excruciating. Half of UK Ag and the businesses they support must now be on the line.

Growing high value crops in abundant years sucks. Once it’s left farm you are entirely at their mercy and when they’ve got too much for their market, it’s suddenly wet and needs cleaning, or suddenly contaminated, months after samples are ok’d - it’s so obvious what they’re up to

We’ve had a few days in France, met with our new bank manager, sent off for our ‘right to farm’ and found a few more acres to buy and checked out the kids schools. Toughest negotiations of the week were between the girls picking bedrooms in the new house! 😂
