The word “dildo” arose in 16th Century England, and for decades was used as a filler word in songs, much like “la dee dah” is used today. The result is a couple of old English tunes for lute and countertenor that use the word “dildo” extensively, like this one by Thomas Morley.

In 2002, Maradona was denied a visa for Japan (due to his drugs charges): “I'd like to remind you that the Americans dropped two nuclear bombs and they can walk peacefully through Tokyo. I didn’t kill anyone, not one Japanese, I only harmed myself, yet they don’t let me visit.”
