Ocean waves break up sea ice floes, whereas sea ice reduces the strength of ocean waves. Wahlgren et al., use wave buoys to measure wave activity in the Antarctic sea ice during two expeditions in 2019 #Oceanography #AGUPubs agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10…
