Congratulations to our Year 5 debate teams - Beddington Park Academy, DL Academy, Telscombe Cliffs Academy and Westbridge Academy - who competed with passion and confidence in the STEP #Debating Championship semi-finals, hosted kindly by the RBC London Office Team. They were incredible!

"We realised that people with cancer may lose hair and feel self-conscious. So, we decided with our Head that on a special day, pupils Beddington Park Academy could come to school with a hairstyle or hat they enjoy to show awareness for cancer. We raised £270 for Cancer Research UK." -Pupil Parliament

"Our school, Benedict Academy, makes World Book Day fun with the chance to get 3 free books from Childrens Book Project! Also, at our book fayres, we purchase books to take home. The money that the school raises goes into buying new books for our library. Everyone benefits!” Pupil leaders
