Quite acceptable, especially for £5 at Aldi Pear, melon, a nose of gooseberry, with slightly sweet green apple that lingers with underlying lime. Decent for the price

Gets better by the hour. Starts right and rather sharp, but slowly opening. Possibly still needs longer after 2 hours. Brownish hue. Cranberry, strawberry with a tobacco nose. A hint of caramel, ending with oak tongue

I think the reviews are overrated for this Amarone Heavy, a little spice but lacks subtlety and character. There are much better Amarones out there!

Salento Primitivo. Fairly heavy and doesn't mess about. Leather, tobacco, honey, raisin, with oak blackberry finish Rich and demanding. Excellent value in the UK Via Svinando if you get the chance to grab when on offer!

Hands down the best, smoothest, and most perfect CdP I've ever had. A real treat with the brother in law. Had no idea how much it cost at the time!! Plum, cassis, leather, chocolate, vanilla. All soft and subtle. A wonderful wine!!

2015 vintage Thought this would be very past its best after 9 years, but it has honey, orange, strawberry, mango without tasting 'bad'. Great colour too! Pleasantly surprised

I like this. Green apple, melon, a little peach. Very fruity and fresh. Excellent mouth feel, dissipating smoothy, leaving you wanting more right away. Very quaffable!

Intense, Indulgent and heavy. Rich plum, coffee bite, a touch of chocolate and a pinch of pepper. A great winter warmer. I've chosen the wrong time of year for this, but it's definitely enjoyable

What a treat. This is a wine that continues to develop & surprise glass after glass. Starts smooth and incredibly pleasant. Rich, coffee, chocolate. Then the fruit starts to shine, with raspberry, brambles, and other red fruit. Incredibly complex. Worth sharing and discussing

I've been very lucky recently. Some amazing wines, including this belter. 25yo and deserves a decant. Oak, blackberry, plum. Intense and browning. Earth, tobacco, chocolate. Rich, complex and great to sip slowly

For the low price point this is a banger from Aldi. It's jammy and chewy, with cherry and a touch of vanilla. Yet (if being fussy) it is let down with a cardboard dryness on the tongue Still excellent value table wine. I'll buy a few more

Still young, but already excellent. Decant for 30 mins to open up. High tannins, which will slowly age away if allowed to lie the cellar. Plum and cherry, a little vanilla, Oak, with an earthy texture which I love. Dark chocolate. Roasted coffee. Excellent value for ~£30!

Red fruit, brambles, pepper. Lingering cranberry and spice on the tongue with a VERY long finish Supposedly £100 (which I wouldn't pay) but is certainly excellent 🎄🍷

Surely one of the best sub-£10 supermarket wines going right now (£7.50 at Lidl) It has spice, black pepper, rich dark fruit, raisin, and a good aroma, with a spicy yet smooth finish. Punches well above its price point

Charlie Kirk Brand acted like a sexual predator quite publicly for years; on the red carpet, on TV shows etc. He was creepy, letching, provocative, and overtly hands-on for all to see. And he loved it. This was Brand on his best behavior. Imagine him at his worst!
