Had the privilege of speaking with young people from across the country today about engaging with journalists to offer a voice of reason on Islam. In times of misconceptions, it's crucial they have the confidence & skills to share the true teachings of their faith.

Today, I chatted to some 14-16 year olds about staying safe online & the dangers of misinformation. We explored fake news, like the Pentagon attack hoax, and discussed real-world impacts like the bleach myth during COVID and how misinformation fueled the 2024 London riots.

It was great speaking to Leah Boleto today on Sky News about the rise in Islamophobia and antisemitism since October 7th and post London riots after the Southport attack.
