In other news, I am about 90% finished with the first draft of the second Telluride novel (see the sneak peek snippet below :) and I also started a fun Joy side project... (...it's supposed to be a short story, but then again, so was Iron Truth, so we'll see where it takes me!)

Some books I've picked up on the indiebook.sale this year: Brightwork by S A Tholin That's a cool title, and the synopsis basically tells me its skunkworks in space, so I'm sold. Also I see the word "submarine" and am immediately interested. I am a simple man.

I've read some great books already in 2025. Iron Truth by Sofie Tholin will certainly be in the running for favorite of the year for me. I'll definitely be looking to continue with the Primaterre series still in 2025. Full review in comments.

Iron Truth is an excellent, excellent mil-sci-fi-with-heart-and-also-terror novel. It spoke to me, and should speak to you as well. Strong recommend.
