ALBA Party So let’s elaborate, OK? If knowledge is power let’s start with some knowledge - not opinion. Independence has 2 parts. The one we think we know about, or at least that we all have opinions about, is the democratic expression of public will to be a sovereign & independent state.



In Angus Robertson’s book on Vienna, the map of Europe is a colonial wound: England is proudly named, but Scotland’s name is erased and our map is sliced, shown only in fragments. I checked again and again, staring at the mutilation where a whole nation should be. Shocking.
