Official Announcement - Thornton Dale School is the official joint winner, with Filey School, of the decibel challenge run by Cirrus Research in aid of Comic Relief. £130 will be donated on our behalf and we receive £75 of book tokens. Thank you again Mr Towle and team.

The theme for both discos next week is colours. Dress in as many colours as you like.

We hope to see you at our reading session this evening from 6pm - 7pm. Everyone is invited. If you cannot make it you are still invited to come at drop-off time tomorrow morning to read with your child/children for 20 minutes. A briefing will take place in the hall first.

Watch out for our pyjama day in support of The Book Trust Charity to ensure every child has access to a book - thanks to the Roberts family. See our website on the Parents' section for reading websites and the PowerPoint from or reading evening.

We are supporting the Book Trust on Thursday 6th June by raising money to provide books, for those who do not have access to high quality reading texts. The support comes in the form of wearing our pyjamas all day and paying £1 for the privilege.
