Key Stage 1 had a great morning meeting the author Laura Jeffcote and enjoyed finding out about her new book Spider Hair. Thank you Laura for spending time in our school and reading your brilliant book to us.

After listening to the story Spider Hair , the Key Stage 1 and EYFS children invented their own amazing hairstyles.

What fantastic Resilience Rangers! These two set themselves the challenge of making a thousand cube! It took lots of patience and promoted lots of maths talk . Well done!!!

Year 1 had a great pirate day at Beaumanor Hall!

Mr Kinally took Year 1 on a tree walk around the school grounds today as part of their science work. They loved finding out about the different trees and looking at the woodpecker nest.

Year 1 and 2 had a great day visiting their friends at King Richard III infant school. They made friendship bracelets and book marks. Played games and had a treasure hunt. What a super day !
