Another dolphin dead at Gulf World! Confiscation is finally supposed to happen within 24 hours according to authorities! 7 out of 11 dolphins have already been cleared for removal. Follow us for updates. #tidebreakers

As per visual from last night the remaining 11 dolphins are still at Gulf World however preparations for the move have started. We observed slings being prepared at site late at night. We will keep monitoring the situation and will be updating you as soon as there is development

Today is Wikie’s 24th birthday. Wikie has spent her entire life in the concrete tanks at Marineland Antibes. Our wish for Wikie is to see her thrive in a clean, safe environment as soon as possible, where she can live a long and life alongside her son, Keijo.

This footage was taken on June 1, 2025 above Marineland Canada. The stage set of the show stadium pool is being demolished, yet animals are still trapped inside deteriorating tanks. Since 2019, 18 belugas, 1 killer whale and 1 dolphin died here. Follow for more updates.

BREAKING: TideBreakers captured footage of four of the Gulf World dolphins arriving at Marineland in St. Augustine yesterday. The 7 surviving bottlenose dolphins from Gulf World sadly were split up—4 went to Marineland and 3 to Dolphin Connection in the Florida Keys.

This is Kshamenk (35). He is the last captive orca in South America. Kshamenk has lived the last 33 years in these concrete tanks—his primary holding tank is only 6 meters wide. He hasn’t seen another orca in over 25 years. How long is too long? More at tidebreakers.org
