Congratulations to Louise Quill for being named 2024 Kerry Person of the Year! Louise does amazing work through her foundation Tír na nÓg Childrens Foundation; the children’s home & school she set up in Kilimanjaro has transformed the lives of numerous children, since 2007. independent.ie/regionals/kerr…

I am deeply honoured to be named Kerry Person of the year. To be recognised by the people of Kerry, and by the Kerry Association of Dublin, means more to be than words can express. It is an incredible privilege to receive such an award from my own community.

The big problem with asking for feedback is that sometimes you might not get back what you were hoping for! Very honest of Declan Quill about how the Kerry ladies football team conducted their end of season ‘anonymous’ reviews. 🎙️Check out the full episode in partnership with

This morning, two incredible boys in my class, Lucas and Adam, handed me an envelope with €330 inside — a donation for TNN. They’ve been quietly collecting plastic bottles and cans at home and saving the cash equivalent. Their kindness, effort and generosity has blown me away.
