One month in Japan- part 5. Visit to Prof. Masaru Watanabe ‘ s lab Tohoku University to see amazing battery and PET recycling facilities and research and the urban group! Thank you for showing us around!


One month in Japan- part 6. WPI-AIMR, Tohoku Univ. Nishihara - Magda Titirici collaborative workshop on sustainable electrocatalysis being honoured by the presence of Lee R. Johnson also on a collaborative visit at the same time. Great talks and discussions! Thank you for the hospitality


One month in Japan - part 7. Visiting 東京大学 | UTokyo Prof Kazuhiro Takanabe ‘ s lab on Catalysis for Energy Conversion to learn about #GteX program in water electrolysis and and learn about fascinating 2D semiconductors from Vincent Tung. Forgot to take pictures with them ☹️.


One month in Japan - part 8. Visit to NIMS (物質・材料研究機構) - Research Centre for Energy and Environmental Materials ( Green) . Thank you Ken Sakaushi for being a great host and in the absence Takuya Matsuda . Was nice to give a talk here again!


One month in Japan - part 9. Our final scientific visit was to SANKEN - Osaka University (Japan) to one of our closest collaborator Yu Katayama with an amazing joint workshop on electrocatalysis and great discussion for further collaborations. Thank you for having us again!!! Will return next year!


One month in Japan- part 10. Finally it was just so amazing to spend time with Hui Luo Helen Tyrrell Angus Pedersen Zamaan,HanziYe and Enrico in Japan doing science and fun and also to see former PhD student Shiori and of course Hiro from good old Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces !


Great day outdoors hiking along the Thames with Interfacial Electrochemistry Group and my group- although with poor presence on both sides. Beautiful scenery and great conversation. Thank you Morven for organising this so perfectly!


Congratulations Mengnan Wang on the publication of some of great your PhD research and so many more things achieved in a very short and busy period of time! So impressive!

Thank you Faraday Institution for the invitation to speak on next gen batteries. We the had a great time in Newcastle! It was a wonderful conference and was great to see and catch up with everyone! Till soon!
