I hope all of the HS players who are still trying to get college offers, have taken time to watch the NBA summer league You will see players who have changed their game to make an impact that will get them on a roster(or some will Not give a team a reason to add them and…}

💯the mentality that makes a player(including HOFers), better than your/their talent…. And a reason some players’ recruiting has elevated above those who are Complacent💯

Saw games at Sat’s Brick League…..still can’t understand why d2 schools are not going after LH’ big Nate Lovinsky Nate Lovinsky had 13pts 10 rebs. Physical player who impacts both ends w/o needing to score- much easier for the guards this week,having Nate’s ‘Ben Wallace’ impact💯

Team Tyson gets by Team Nate 58-53 to win back-to-back Brick League Championships. JR Bates 15 pts 4 rebs 2 stls & Xavier McKinney 15 pts 5 rebs led the way for Team Tyson

At the 270 Hoops 🏀 Elite Camp today. Seeing some quality talent early, including Bedford’s AJ McGuinea a Strong Athletic combo guard who impacts the game on both sides of the ball.

Buckeye Trail’s Elian Arick is a 6’ 10” problem for opponents who try to score in the paint. Elian has a good motor that makes him a very good help side defender. He also has decent hands for catching the ball in the paint.

Shout out to Zach Fleer and his 270Hoops team for the great Upperclassmen Elite Camp that they organized today. Props to the players who came out- some familiar faces, with others who will have new opportunities and roles this season, giving us a glimpse of what to expect.

Still trying to process the arrests and charges against Chauncey Billups & Terry Rozier…..a big fan of how both (have)played the game. Hopefully these charges turn out to be inaccurate.
