In this text, Pufendorf says princes are obligated to instill piety in their subjects (everyone has natural duty to worship God), defend the church, have “watchful eye” over ministers, & even call synods

It’s remarkeable that a top podcast is hosting this discussion. Convos like this are the reason why controlled opposition conservatives have been attacking Tucker. A free, critical mind is a stinging rebuke to the servile mentality of most chattering class conservatives.

Claremont guy understands Protestant political theology, better than legacy evangelical institutions. Wolfe and Barton are actually at opposite ends of the political theological spectrum. Carter and Barton are actually on the same end, but the former doesn’t understand that.

I would have done so well as a medieval general because I learned so much from playing Medieval Total War. You just march your whole army to the corner of the map and line up your spearmen there and they can't outflank you. More medieval generals should have done this.

Every time I rewatch this, I find something new to love. The pained look on his face. The constant chewing but not swallowing because he isn’t sure he can keep it down if he does. The frenetic pointless rearranging of the slop in the bowl to give the appearance of engaging with

All of “our guys” in the conservative evangelical/Protestant world are doing 1) far more interesting, 2) far higher quality, and 3) far more biblically faithful content and resource production than anyone in Big Eva, or at TGC/Christianity Astray, etc. Jared Moore’s interview
