Stopped by 6th Street Distillery in Giddings on the way back to Austin last night. Pleasant experience. There is something about drinking at a distillery that I prefer to a regular bar.

So apparently Italian scientists, at least this one, read their Dante. Frankly, that little diagram on page 41 is what convinced me to purchase this delightfully interesting little book.

Preparing for a reading at UST today, and I'm reminded why I have a deep preference for sentence case in poetry. In order to ensure I read the enjambed lines correctly, I have to make notes. I know these are fighting words for some ;) James Matthew Wilson

Third time is the charm. I finally have a poem present in Presence: A Journal of Catholic Poetry! This is poem is from a series of five (thus far) curtal sonnets created in response to quotes from Augustine's Confessions. A project I started during the UST MFA program.
