I’m back in Sheffield now and this afternoon I popped into town where I witnessed the Corpus Christi Procession (it’s the first Sunday after Trinity), taking Jesus in the Eucharist around the city from the Catholic St Marie Cathedral to the the Anglican Sheffield Cathedral #Sheffield

#CorpusChristi This was an immense act of Christian witness as around 1,000 people processed through the streets singing everything from choral 4-part harmony to Eritrean 🇪🇷 chants with percussion.

It was a real blessing to have Archbishop Stephen with us. He deepened our understanding and preached and spoke in a way which nurtured faith so clearly. More than this, he evangelised to hundreds of our children whom he also blessed at our lunchtime Eucharist. Thank you 🙏🏼
