It was wonderful to attend Urshan University Day at the Missouri State Capital. Congratulations on a job well done, MO State Representative Travis Wilson, Urshan Choir, and Rev Jerry Jones! We loved hearing and being with our dear friend, Rev Art Hodges, too!

MY MOTHER was an affirming, kind-hearted, resilient soul. She encouraged me in the arts—took me to music lessons, praised every sketch, and went to the Art Museum with me. She cheered me on in ministry. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her love. She’s been gone 25 years now.

PEOPLE HAVE LITERALLY DIED FROM FEAR. “Medical literature is replete with case reports of patients dying, not from actual illness, but from BELIEVING they were sick, from the fear they were going to die.” ~Timothy R. Jennings, M.D.

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest”- Jaime Anderson
