Children are now dying from hunger in Gaza caused by the Israeli blockade. And still world leaders look on, wring their hands, and do nothing. David Lammy

Webb still attempting to cast doubt on the starvation in Gaza caused by The Israeli blockade on #r4today just now. Despite the overwhelming evidence from all involved.

Shameful comments from David Mencer denying that Israel is responsible for the famine in Gaza. theguardian.com/world/live/202…

The presenters on #r4today think there a dispute on the reasons for the slaughter and starvation in Gaza, when there are only the facts as reported by every independent observer and the lies repeatedly told by the Israeli government. An unbiased media would see and report this.

I will leave this here as a shameful reminder to us all #r4today. History will judge those who stood by a did nothing as 1000s of children died of hunger in Gaza. Including the U.K. Government.

As the situation in Gaza plunges into the biggest human catastrophe in recent years caused solely by Israeli sanctions, western governments, including the U.K. are rushing to put out statements condemning the atrocities. Why has it taken so long and why are they doing it now?

Clearly Israel getting worried as world opinion turns against them. Giving the lie to David Lammy’s comments the U K could do nothing to prevent these war crimes. theguardian.com/world/live/202…

Israel has no shame. Everyone is to blame except them. When the deaths and starvation are a direct result of their action. International law is very clear as the occupying power they are responsible. theguardian.com/world/2025/jul…

The reason for the lack of compassion and humanity in western leaders is simple. They do not regard the death of a child in Gaza as important as the death of an Israeli child or a white child in the U.K. or the USA. If they did they would have stopped the atrocities 12 months ago

Starmer ā€˜s weak statement on Gaza fails to recognise the strength of feeling in the UK to take action against those who starve young children and commit war crimes daily. #r4today

As we all knew Starmer fails to condemn Israel and recognise Palestine because he didn’t want to upset Trump. theguardian.com/world/live/202…
