We (Unboxed) were discussing some of this disconnect in systems design work where models can be convincing but worryingly simple. I love the idea of the experts if whatever context smelling this

This thread shows that if you kill parts of a system, the rot is infectious. Health care, social care, welfare - you can't protect one and decimate the others. Even for health it starts falling apart if you spend for show rather than investing for future needs #broken #services

Tom Gayler Design Council Unboxed I completely agree with the need to start "with a desire or spark in the community not from an organisation, business, council" We need to seek out those sparks as they have been dimmed in the era of austerity by feelings of acceptance and hopelessness in communities.

I've been nodding along vigorously reading. this - feel like this collaboration issue is something we are figuring out how to address in Open Digital Planning, following in the footsteps of LocalGov Drupal. Also something we've tried to enable Unboxed with logovplatform.co.uk
