2. LLMs are unruly beasts; nobody knows how to make them refrain 100% of time from insulting users, giving bad advice, or goading them into bad things. Nobody knows how to solve this.

Programmers will command armies of software agents to build increasingly complex software in insane record times. Non-programmers will also be able to use these agents to get software tasks done. Everyone in the world will be at least John Carmack-level software capable.

One thing I noticed at the #ldnbots meetup last night is regardless of the macro trends in tech right now there still seems to be a huge amount of hiring for people in conversational AI taking place in London. Perhaps it's not all as soon and gloom as everyone thinks.

ChatGPT will likely play out exactly as innovator’s dilemma suggests. To an expert in any given field, it has worse answers. But most people don’t have access to experts for everything, so it actually is a productivity boost to everyone else.
