So sad to think of the fallout to employees - this now appears to be a current trend with higher educational establishments also making similar moves .

So we are training many more health and social care professionals- there is a well advertised shortage of staff and yet health trusts are reorganising and jobs being cut - where are jobs for the newly qualified.

Handed over 96 pairs of spectacles to be distributed to those in need and £351 for AccessLife to support families of child cancer sufferers in Manipal, India. Thank you to EHU | Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine for supporting these causes Manipal Academy of Higher Education

at our book launch last thursday were some of the people i most value some of whom i have known for years. wonderful to have had their support, friendship and collegiality!!! a word universities don't know much about these days i suspect
