Yesterday we attended a Barn fire. Clitheroes crew is made up of people from the local community often supported by their primary employers. This support is invaluable. Below is the crew all proudly wearing their primary work T-shirts.

The week started WBS for the first module of the Executive Leadership Programme. Fantastic to meet Cohort 20, module leads & start a unique learning journey. The week finished with 🔑 to our new family home. Arlo enjoyed the homegrown 🍓 from his new garden 👨‍🎓🏡

A privilege to close South Shore Fire Stn #FireCadets passing out parade last night. Excellent drill designed by the Cadets themselves. Another day another Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service Open Day, this time Preston Fire Station. A fantastic turnout with our boat, drones, hagglund, ALP, Command Unit, appliances new & old, plus RTC & hot oil demos. Loads of partners also attending engaging with the community. Well done all 👏

Good to get out on the incident ground last night 🔥. Early firefighting & resource tactics, along with a well maintained site including a sprinkler system really helped reduce the size & scale of this incident 🚒

Incident: We currently have 10 fire engines at reports of a building fire on Preston New Road, Samlesbury. If you can see or smell smoke, please keep your windows and doors closed. Please avoid the area.

Beccy joined our Service in 2019 following in her dad’s footsteps. She was a dedicated and courageous firefighter, and a warm and enthusiastic person who became an inspiration to many. She is sadly missed and our thoughts remain with her loved ones, friends, and colleagues ❤

I don’t get called out very often these days but that hasn’t stopped Grandma teaching Arlo how to respond to the 📟🚨. Just like the old days Lytham Fire Station although I’m not as quick responding now! Fortunately this toy stays at the Grandparents 😅🚒

Attended a persons reported 🔥 last night with South Shore Fire Stn & Blackpool Fire. Occupier discovered a fire but was unable to safely escape, they dialled 999 📞 & North West Fire Control relayed information to crews who brought them to safety.
