Orozco is one of 6 City2 players to get a callup this season -- Joyner, Pearce, Cilley, McSorley, Jaaskelainen are the others -- but he's the first to get a start in an MLS game. Joyner started the Open Cup game against Union Omaha

After giving up a goal in the 6th minute to fall behind 1-0, City SC has given up three goals in the past three games in the first 10 minutes.

#USMNT's 2-1 win over Guatemala in Gold Cup semifinals drew 1,240,000 viewers on FS1. Good news ... it was No. 1 show on all of English-language TV among adults in the prized 18-49 demo. Bad ... down from the 1,506,000 viewers on FS1 for 2023 USA-Panama Gold Cup semifinals.

Klauss with the header on a corner kick to make it 2-1 inthe 51st minute. His sixth goal in six games since Critchley took over.

I don't know what to make of this, but of his six goals in the past six games, Klauss has had goals at 47+ (2 minutes into first half stoppage time), 48+ (3 minutes in), 47 (2 minutes into 2nd half) and now 51.

Yaro deflects a ball into his own net to make it 3-1, though he was right in front of a RSL attacker who probably would have put it in anyway.

Corner kick bounces in off someone, maybe Yaro, maybe Orozco, maybe RSL, but it counts, so City SC trails 3-2 in the 81st minute

A header by Klauss goes just wide in the 98th minute, followed soon by the final whistle as City SC falls 3-2 to RSL. Winless streak at five games.

Critchley said they would need a complete game. This wasn't one. The final gamer, with reaction from Critchley, Klauss and Orozco on a good 2nd half that couldn't make up for a bad 1st half stltoday.com/sports/profess… via St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Tim Ream was 35 and figured the 2022 World Cup would be his one chance. When it was done, he thought, why not do it again? And now 2026 is very possible for the St. Louisan stltoday.com/sports/profess… via St. Louis Post-Dispatch

City SC may be going nowhere, but City2 won its 7th game in a row tonight, beating Real Monarchs 3-1 in Utah. Team leads MLS Next Pro in points. Joyner, Zalinsky and Pearce played for both the first and second teams this weekend. McSorley, Jaaskelainen, Kidd with goals.

Osteitis pubis (inflammation of the pelvic bone), sports hernia injuries and associated adductor strains. 7 minutes, plus stoppage time, for Alm this season. Over the team's first two seasons, no player's presence on the field has been more correlated with wins than Alm.

Tough season for City SC's Swedish contingent: Alm plays just 7 minutes, done for season; Nilsson only 6 games so far because of knee trouble; Mellberg fired after 15 games. stltoday.com/sports/profess… via St. Louis Post-Dispatch
