This is reportedly the tweet that led Graham Linehan 🎗️ to be arrested. If he’s guilty, so am I for retweeting him. If you support him, retweet him too. We need to change the law - and the culture of the police and public sector.

Labour lost control of the public finances and were careless with inflation. This is the result. They’re desperately spinning that this is an issue for other countries too… … but as the FT front page says Britain is “hit hardest” by the bond markets.

I’d be fascinated to know the police’s decision-making on things like @glinner’s tweets. When a man sent me - directly and personally, by DM - a description of how he intended to use a knife to murder me, the police declined to investigate.

It's very rarely useful in politics to accuse those we disagree with of lying - but there isn't really a clearer-cut example than Miliband claiming that high electricity prices are down to wholesale gas prices. It's not a difference of interpretation; it is a lie. Steve Loftus

Britain does not exist simply to offer people from abroad a better life. Successive governments have forgotten the immigration system should benefit Britain, not the rest of the world. It’s terribly sad that millions globally struggle. It doesn’t mean they should live here.

Anyone who thinks we should carry on granting asylum to refugees needs to be explicitly clear about how many asylum seekers they would permit to enter this country. If they won't answer, then their answer is infinity. And that is not what Britain wants at all.

So the politician that has led the charge for a decade on Tory impropriety, housing inequality and “one rule for them” narratives is actually a massive, serial tax tax evader with three homes who doesn’t think the rules apply to her? Interesting.
