I’d be fascinated to know the police’s decision-making on things like @glinner’s tweets. When a man sent me - directly and personally, by DM - a description of how he intended to use a knife to murder me, the police declined to investigate.

Two big events announced today...

Britain does not exist simply to offer people from abroad a better life. Successive governments have forgotten the immigration system should benefit Britain, not the rest of the world. It’s terribly sad that millions globally struggle. It doesn’t mean they should live here.

Anyone who thinks we should carry on granting asylum to refugees needs to be explicitly clear about how many asylum seekers they would permit to enter this country. If they won't answer, then their answer is infinity. And that is not what Britain wants at all.
