Sea ice continues to grow slower than average in the #Antarctic (austral winter), which has led to an even larger extent anomaly in the last few days. An obvious record low for this time of year. Yikes. See more graphics at: zacklabe.com/antarctic-sea-…. Data from National Snow and Ice Data Center.

Advice for PhD students: Start a database of literature from day one. As well as your reading notes, create a one line summary of each reading including: • Authors • Year of publication • A sentence on study findings and keywords It’ll save so much time later! PhD Voice - Independently Run
