Can't believe what I'm seeing on the BBC News. They are training yoga teachers to vaccinate. I am a doctor with a license to practice who volunteered last March to do anything to help in the pandemic including vaccinate and I am sitting here doing nothing.

Allowing more outdoors activity (i.e. exercise and recreation) would really benefit our physical and mental health, with minimal risk of transmission. This could happen *before* 8 March, and I hope it’s being considered.   Please do RT if you agree. Boris Johnson Matt Hancock

I’m seeing worrying comments from people that feel taking the Oxford/AZ jab is now pointless. This is *absolutely* the wrong take: it remains a highly effective vaccine against severe illness for both the original virus AND the UK variant. Most likely the South African one too.

T-cells help protect against severe disease. Analysis shows 76 out of 87 T-cell binding sites (87%) are not impacted by the mutations seen in the SA B.1.315 🇿🇦 variant. This suggests that the T-cell response generated by AZ vaccine should be highly effective against SA 🇿🇦 variant
