Thank you to Vice-dΓ©canat Γ la recherche @uOttawaFSS for funding us to study the experiences of people living with stage III-IV #lungcancer receiving immunotherapy or targeted therapy. One of the objectives of the project will be to examine gender effects, which have been ignored in this population.

This is the first step towards developing a new intervention to help manage uncertainty when living with lung cancer. And is the PhD thesis of the wonderful Alanna Chu

This was a great team effort with almost all my students Alanna Chu Jani Lamarche Ghizlene Sehabi (elle/she/her) Lou Giguère. We found that uncertainty is an important unmet need and is prevalent in all spheres of patients' lives: practical/financial, informational, social, and psychological.

Very excited to share that I will be joining the Clinical Psychology program at Concordia University with supervisor Nicole Alberts Dr. Nicole Alberts this fall! βΊοΈ Grateful to the many amazing mentors who helped me get here.
