Our first visit to the Strand in a couple of seasons to see Attenborough FC dev see off a resilient East Leake Robins Football Club res in the Nottinghamshire Senior League junior cup 6-2,hosts led 3-2 at the break,they really went for it in the 2nd period,very enjoyable game played in mid autumn sunshine.

Went to see Peter Kay last night in Birmingham,my sides are still aching with laughing so much,didn't recognise him at first he has lost a lot of weight.Seen him a few times he always delivers.

Sat 1/2/25@Hetley Pearson Beeston_Old_Boys_Association 1 V 6 East Leake Robins Football Club free entry,Nottinghamshire Senior League div 1,it took 40 mins for deadlock to be broken then 2 goals in a minute before the interval.It was even Steven up till then,robins moved up a gear and dominated possession.

Our first visit to Hetley Pearson this term to see a really enjoyable encounter in the Nottinghamshire Senior League div 1, Beeston_Old_Boys_Association were really tenacious and defended doggedly against a very skilful and lively East Leake Robins Football Club some good football on show and some real quality finishes.

Sat8/2/25@town ground Heanor Town u-23's 1 V 1 Baobab United Football Club ,baobab won 5-4 on pens,entry £3, this one went right up to the wire,away side struck in 90th min,town replied with last kick of the game after a goalmouth scramble,baobab into next round of cup after pen shootout.

Our 1st visit this season to the town ground this campaign to see a really tight hard fought cup game courtesy of Heanor Town u-23's & Baobab United Football Club it looked like baobab won it in normal time right at the death,town went up the other end & scored ,away side snatched it on pens

Sat22/3/25@AEA,AFC Borrowash Victoria 2 V 4 FCV Grace Dieu (C) 🏆🏆 1st v 6th in the Nottinghamshire Senior League prem,game was a lot tighter than scoreline might suggest,Grace held a 3-0 advantage at HT,Vics replied 3-1,were a far greater threat even at 1-4 another strike 2-4,a flurry of late chances.

Non league day 22/3/25 @ AEA,to see Nottinghamshire Senior League prem leaders FCV Grace Dieu (C) 🏆🏆 come out on top 2-4 V a very resilient AFC Borrowash Victoria away side took the 1st half 3-0 but give really came out of the blocks after the break,a very entertaining encounter,well officiated,good crowd.

Sat5/4/25@St Giles,Sandiacre Town Res 1 V 1 Kimberley MWFC res,free entry,Nottinghamshire Senior League div 1,high flying Kimberley came across a determined town side,sandiacre took the lead a real bullet of a strike,kimbo replied with a pen before the interval,pitch looked hard,town really fired up.

Our 1st visit this term to the Shilo home of Awsworth Villa F.C to see FCV Grace Dieu (C) 🏆🏆 clinch the Nottinghamshire Senior League premier title,it was an extremely nervy affair villa gave it a real good to but the away side took the honours with a strike in each half the clincher was a well taken pen

Sat19/4/25@The Stag,Kimberley MWFC 0 V 1 Ashby Ivanhoe FC free entry,UCL premier div north,a bumper crowd,a single strike in the second period the difference between 2 sides,neither team really got going,very few clear cut chances,result really could have gone either way.

Our 1st dip into the UCL premier div north this term to see Kimberley MWFC go down by a second half single strike after an error in the box,Ashby Ivanhoe FC took all 3 points in front of a very healthy crowd of 437,it was a very scrappy affair,chances were at a premium.

Sat10/5/25 Hucknall Town Football Club Aslockton&Orston FC 1 V 3 FCV Grace Dieu (C) 🏆🏆 entry £5,free programme,Nottinghamshire Senior League senior cup final,Grace raced to a two goal lead at the interval,Aslockton gave it a good go in the second period they pulled one back but were hit by a sucker punch third late on.

Very enjoyable Nottinghamshire Senior League cup final Hucknall Town Football Club two very good sides battled it out on a very warm sunny afternoon,FCV Grace Dieu (C) 🏆🏆 eventually overcoming a dogged and resilient Aslockton&Orston FC 3-1,it was played in front of a healthy crowd,good end to the Nottinghamshire Senior League season.
