A very busy Community Beat Surgery today with lots of visitors, we provided visibility & reassurance, answered questions & gave advice, We conducted foot patrol in town & mobile patrols across Witham & Hatfield Peverel before attending an emergency in the town park #YouSaidWeDid

The following evening patrol for anti-social behaviour took me into town & on the Templars Estate but I did not find any issues. To ensure that we are in the right place at the right time - we need your reports! You can submit these directly to us or anonymously to Crimestoppers

I increased my visibility in town with extra foot patrols each side of the Community Beat Surgery. Great to speak to lots of parents & children & we discussed topics of speeding & anti-social behaviour for future action. At the end of the day I found time to wash the Police van!

At last night's Annual Meeting, Witham Town Councillors voted in their Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the new civic year. Cllr Lucy Barlow will be Witham's Mayor for 24-25, supported by Cllr Paul Heath as Deputy Mayor.

Visited the market & local retailers providing visibility & reassurance. Positive conversations with residents in the town before attending a disturbance at Morrisons. Speed checks on Maldon Road & Spinks Lane with several drivers warned, mobile patrols & alcohol awareness visit
